Idi Amin (Uganda, dictator)
Idi Amin- a moster as a clown
- 1924 (in some sources also 1925 or 1928) born in the north of Uganda under the name Idi Awo-Ongo
Angoo - visited a little school but never really learned how to write and read
- 1948 he joined the “King’s African Rifles” as a assistant cook and worked his way up to the most feared chaser of terrorists
- he was described as unintelligent but a great leader and sadist
- he hated the British but admired Hitler
- 1971 Amin initiated a putsch and brought down president Milton Obote to preemt a dismissal
- published a manifest: more political freedom, ending of arrests, more wealth so that the Ugandans took Amin for a good president
- many described him as a funny man and even a clown
- Amin started a war of economy and took the belongings of the Asian to gain wealth
- so in the course of his 8 years of rule several hundreds of thousands people died
- 1979 he was exiled by a Tanzanian army
- Exile in Saudi-Arabia because he was a believing muslim
- he was never accused
- 2003 Amin died because of liver and kidney failure
